I decided to give this game a go after becoming frustrated at my "suck level" at Tiger Woods and also how much I enjoyed the Wii Golf game ... cheesy as it may be. Also ... I was jealous of the arcade golf game for the PS3: Hot Shots Golf. Well ... Golf: Tee it Up to the rescue.
Playing this game is ultimately casual and very arcade-like making it exceedingly accessible to any skill level. The graphics are nice and crisp but realism is not the intent here. Controls are very simple, select the club (automatically done as a start), aim, push A once to start the "swing" and a second time to hit the ball. Easy.
While I haven't tried the online play, the options seem rather standard yet complete. Missing are some more advanced features (recording replays, etc.) but that is not unexpected from an Arcade game.
After I played one round I purchased the full version and use it as a nice casual game.
