Alien Breed Evolution comes to the Xbox, supporting both single player & Live Co-operative play. In the same overhead style as the much loved X-Men Legends games, Alien Breed Evolution brings another fun shooter to XBLA.

For fans of survival horror games, ABE will please you due to the fact that it has many moments that will make you jump! You'll spend hours navigating through darkened laboratories and fiery deathtraps, discovering various items to help along the way.

As the game lacks a decent story, the single player does become rather boring in a short time, but that's why we have co-operative play! Jump onto Xbox Live with a friend, and play through the campaign together, talking about whatever you want as you kick ass again the Covena...er, nevermind.

Alien Breed is 800pts, and well worth the price if you are looking for the co-op experience. At the very least, check out the demo as its an honest representation of what to expect in the full game.

Hi there.

I downloaded the game without a trial, just in the hope all the hype will come true when playing this game. After a few hours the mechanics are: Walk to there, press a button and return to where you came from. I dont know how much power switches I activated so far, but I guess the next step is to activate just another.

After doing so, you dont get the feeling you did something very important. A very bad sound quality of your machine gun helps to get this game boring faster than you wish. I guess these kind of games are living mainly from sound effects. And the game sucks all the way, except the explosion effects which keeps atmosphere at least a bit higher. Well.

Technically its a good game. Lightning, shadow, smooth animations. But where did the gameplay go? Where the fun? There is no survival feeling you get while playing this game. Even on hard its just boring concercing the difficulty level and well...its about a few other switches again.

For a price of 800points everything is way to cheap. I do not download part 2 or 3, because I guess I have seen everything in Part 1 so far. Im a bit disappointed because of the hype in front of this game. I guess its a better choice to download the good old version for free instead of wasting 800 on this or other follow-ups. Sorry to say Team17.
