Although I enjoyed the first game I have to say that this one improves on it in almost every way.

The new rolling move is something you end up mastering and often using as your primary method of propulsion since it's faster than walking.

There are 100 levels to complete and after that there are also plenty of bonus gameplay modes that I wont spoil.

The game can get pretty difficult and in my opinion it peaks in the 85-95 section with 96-100 being surprisingly easy in comparison. That's not a criticism really though, just a curiosity.

My only criticism at all is that it's nothing new really. It's another platform game done exceptionally well. there were no real surprises to be had in the game and no WOW! moments.

Still. Don't want to end on a downer. It really is a great game.

I have to start of by getting the bad stuff out the way first because this is a decent game.

The branding is awful. It makes the game worse. I'd much rather see more stylized ships and more time put into developing the universe.

The game its self is a competent space faction warfare game. Overall it plays ok and if the devs keep working on it beyond the old spice competition and remove the brand it could go from being an ok game to being a good, or perhaps even great one.

As it stands, it still has a good amount of content that you'd expect from this type of game, including ranks and stats for a feeling of character development. The game also has the best music of the 5 finalists. I admit I do have a soft spot for space games in general mind you so perhaps that puts a bit of positive bias on this game when it obviously isn't escape velocity Nova or Flotilla by a long shot.

Overall I do reckon it's above average with a few nice ships and perfectly passable gameplay, but I'd understand if others disagreed with me and am sure averages will prove me right on wrong in time.

Also. Like I said about one of the other contestants it could stand to look at the fresh card game for polish ideas.

Great idea but damn it's hard to figure out and the last few levels are super difficult.

I did persevere and mange to figure it out in the end and I have to say I had great fun. It's all worth it for the song and the credits. I nearly wet myself. That really should have been at the start if they wanted to win the competition.

Some of the levels are amazing fun and I'm sure I'll be replaying them many times. There are a couple of frustrating ones though.

This game is the most fun out of the finalists and it is a cool idea but the developers really needed to do some more play testing and it's not as polished as the Fresh Card Game so I have to mark it down a bit for that, and the frustration at the start of the game trying to figure it out.

I also wish I'd know about that instruction page on the web when I was playing it and I now know they are going to update it but I have to mark it on what I've played. Sorry.

This game was my front runner for the competition from the first time I saw it.

It's beautifully polished and full of theme colors and sounds. I'd say easily the best looking of the 5 finalists.

When I played it though I was very disappointed. I expected a lot more comedy and a faster pace to the card game. It's pretty tame though and it can take a long time to finish a single game. I'm not a fan of Uno to be fair and maybe I was expecting more from this title than I should have.

Even though I ended up not enjoying it after I bought it I still think the level of polish is something to be aspired to for all indie games.

If nothing else I have to applaud the makers of this game for putting in the effort to go 3D.

Unfortunately it looks like they could really have done with some more time on the graphics. The bloom is annoying and the the shadows pop and flicker in places.

The game it's self isn't bad but it would have played much better on the wii. The levels do drag on a bit though. Splitting them into smaller more challenging chunks would have been preferable for me.

Ultimately, once you get over the visuals, what you are left with is something that can be pretty fun for a couple of minutes then you realize there is nothing else to it. Hopefully the developers will go away and work on it some more outside of the old spice brand.

I thought this site had vanished and then came across it randomly in a search.

I'm a big fan of the recent Old Spice commercials so I'm way more interested in this competition than I should be.

I'm also a fan of Unirally on the SNES.

I see that this is pretty much a clone of it. To be fair it's ok. It's easy enough to pick up there are a good number of tracks. Some of those tracks are even decent. The game does seem to have almost bugger all to do with Old Spice though.

Overall though it's mediocre rather than bad. I think a 3 is harsh so I'm going to give it a 5.

This game looks like a nice flash port. It's very short but what there is of it is a decent romp.

It can be considered pretty easy but if you try to run and gun the whole thing you can add a little bit of challenge for yourself.

Not outstanding but not complete rubish either. There are better flash equivalents however.

It's not a game at all obviously. Just a clock.

Perhaps it is a cynical commentary on the number of basic clones that populate community games. If so, I would like to have seen the option to switch from pong to alleyway to geometry wars as all three game types ahve been prevalent among the community.

Slightly amusing and perhaps a niche purchase if you fancy using your 360 was a clock.

This game is overly simplistic and lacks any real attempt at gameplay in my oppinion. When I got the demo I was thinking it might be something like the old PS wipeout games. It is in some respects but not any of the ways that made those games fun.

If I had anythig good to say about the game it would be that the HUD is crisp and clean in design. Other than that, saying the gameplay is shallow would be an understatement and the graphics don't do nearly enough draw my attention away from the this failing.

The game is retro as you'd expect and offers a little more than the previous version of the game. Most notabley the ability to play with a second player but the ability of another player doesn't improve the core game significantly and you are still left with the general feeling that it was all supposed to have a little more depth.

All in all there are a fair few flash games that do a better job so I can't reccomend this title but it's not a bad game all in all.

This is just someones attempt to make a quick buck by reskinning someone elses code. There is no excuse for it and it's not really any fun anyway.

This game is fun, pretty original and beautiful. Probably the most beautiful XNA game to date. I'm not impressed by all the glowy vector stuff that so often appears in XNA games. I like artwork, and this game has plenty of it with a consistant style and quality.

Deservedly hailed as one of the top XNA titles this game competes on a quality level on even footing with the majority of XBLA games.

Perhaps the gameplay can get a little repetative and perhaps the art isn't varied enough but for the price you are paying for this title there will be few people who can say it isn't worth the points.

I enjoy this game a lot. Totally overlooked it when it came out but after playing it I find it a nice little bit of entertainment.

digging for things can be quite addictive as simple as the concept is and there is always a sense that the next shiny thing could be just a few feet away.

the only real niggles I have are the death penalty which seems a little harsh in contrast to the rest of the game being decidedly casual in nature, and the art is a little too simplistic but that could be put down to personal taste.

If I had reviewed it when it came out I probably would have given it a nine but in light of the generally rising qaulity of community games I think this deserves an 8 overall.

I was pleasantly surprised by this title. The developers havn't just tried to make a quick buck by throwing card game after card game at the XNA community. They put several games in one title that makes the game worth the points.

Personally I would have liked to have seen a fair bit more flash, some more particle effects flying around when a winning hand is played and a few other nicities but these are minor issues in the face of what is a solid title.

In my oppinion if you want to play a regular card game on your Xbox. This is the title for you. Simple as that.

This is a nice little version of that warioware game where you need to keep the plain up. Except with a little more depth and a hundred times prettier.

Their are enough levels to keep you occupied for a few hours at least depending on how easy you find the basic mechanic.

Like the title suggests, everything about this game is nice and comfortable and it's a nice bit of fun. Perhaps would have been better on the DS but that is obviously a lot harder to develop a game on.

The main thing I hold against it (perhaps unfairly) is that it has been done plenty of times before in flash so perhaps 400 points was a little expensive. It is however better constructed and more fun than the majority of it's flash counterparts so I still rate it as a good game.

OK. It's chinese solitaire on a 360. You start in various states of play, like someone was playing but went off to have a coffee and you came by and decided to finishtheir game for them. I'll give them that it's prettier than the usual board game version and half finished games are more entertaining than doing it from scratch but it's still not a mind blowing title by any stretch of the imagination.

Still. It's entertaining enough if you are into that sort of thing so I can't fault it on presentation or style. Therefore a 7 seems fair for a game that's well constructed but nothing out of the oprdinary.

This game does exactly what you'd expect. It makes a lot of noise. Especially in hte hands of a young child.

It's a solid app that has no particularly appealing features but nothing that would put anyone off. The sound quality and samples are good enough for this to be a solid little number. My kid loves just banging away, but then he loves doing that with pots and pans as well.

I think the game is good fun and very pretty but it is basically just a copy of geometry wars and I find that leaves a bad taste in my mouth to be honest as it's a bit of a bandwagon jump.

The game it's self is good I have to admit. I prefer thye slightly more polished geometry wars but it's still just a twin stick shooter. Neither of these games have any goal other than points so for a player that wants some kind of game progression this isn't the title for you.

However. If you just want a mindless blast you can keep coming back to you could do a hell of a lot worse on XBLCG.

I marked this one up for being a nice cencept although I'm not sure if the concept could translated better with more effort or whether by the end of it all you'd still be left with a geometry wars clone that has a random level generator.

The cynic in me says that this is a programmers game, by programmers for programmers. Art has been brushed aside ungracisouly to make way for a player model that looks suspiciously like the players from the vector rumple sample pack and teh rest of the enemies are just circles.. Musical creativity has been brushed aside in favour of using your own tracks.

What's left is a fairly shallow gaming experiance with music that you like. PErhaps this one would have worked better as a screen saver for when you are playing music on your Xbox.

The uncynical part of me however, wants to beleive that this was a genuine attempt to do something original and just fell short so I have to mark it up a bit for that. It's what community games is supposed to be all about if you beleive microsoft.

The game is still worth looking at if you just want a brainless blast while listening to your music and at 200 points it's nothing to complain about.

This is a decent little title that I think sets a mood quite well and adds the tension thumb screws just a little at a time at first.

It's not that pretty but that's not too important since it's really dark anyway. As long as you can shhot at the bad guys right?

The problem with the game is that it's a very shallow experiance and what you get in the demo is pretty much the full game. There is no real goal and no end result. Just level after level getting deeper into the facility which is counter intuitive since I want to escape rather than go deeper to my doom (but I won't hold that against it)

It's not a great game but it is decent and a little bit of fun. No one would think less of you if you bought this title. It's fine for the cost and in my oppinion worth a demo play.

I can't think of a way t justify this game. It's pretty enough but so are the thousands of other versions you can find on flash sites or titles such warioware which has a huge amount more variation.

Perhaps if you really hate gophers but don't want or aren't able to go kill the real thing.

There is nothing wrong with this game and for 200 points it's not going to break the bank but considering other titles out there for 200 points there doens't seem to be any solid arguement for getting this one. It's nothing you can't get elsewhere.

This is essentailly an XNA version of the game Spectar. That in it's self gives it brownie point. It is however nothing more and on some respects a lot less.

I didn't quite manage to get into this version the way I did the original. Maybe I just have retro tinted glasses but the controls didn't feel great and the battles were never overly satisfying.

A decent game by all accounts but nothing outstanding.

From the demo I thought this was going to be an exciting retro mash up. Unfortunately it became a dull allway clone pretty quickly.

The pixel creations seems like a nice idea but when you are trying to sort out 32 colours with no idea of what goes where it either becomes frustrating or tedious.

I'm afraid there is little else to say about this title.

Watch the video for this and you instantly know what it's about. That's not a bad thing at all. It's not an original title but it's a nice version of flash games such as Gravity and Zero G golf.

The only real drawback is that I'm not sure it's worth 400 points given there are similar free games and other XNA titles that are arguably better while costing half as much. That will be something for each individaul to decide.

Despite this overall, it is still a good fun game.

When I first played this I thought it was decent but I was borderline on whether I'd buy it or not. I'm glad I did. The game demo doesn't demonstrate the sheer crazyness and tension that waits in store for the player.

Some levels require fast reflexes, some require tactics and some just bake you hide away in the corner fearing for your life. The lack of live might turn some people off but the gameplay is fast and fun. It's also different with it's shield and node mechanic.

If you could have split points I would give it 8.5 but I'll be generous and round up as I have someone in the house to play with me.

It's a simple no frills chess game. Nothing fancy.

The question does arise however, why would you want to by this when there are numerous free online chess games.

If you are really into chess go ahead and get this but for peole who arn't or people that have PC's I fail to see the point. Maybe chess via IM would work a bit better on a 360, fopr all those times you are online waiting for someone or something.

When you first pick up this title it looks like it could be a good, if generic geometry wars clone. It has the same neon style graphics and the same gamplay.

But you soon realise your bullets feel weedy and slow and everything seems to get in your way and the excitment factor drops to something akin to watching a pretty screensaver then getting kicked out to the main menu at random.
