A precision game that's well done, but there's bet
This is a precision game which relies on timing. Press once to set the horizontal direction, press a second time to choose to set the height.
This scheme works well, but can be exploited when playing the variants of the game (301 and 501) where the goal is to get down to zero as fast as possible. I'm not going to reveal the trick, but it's easy to figure out you will never score less than 17 on any dart.
The result: players get close to zero rather quickly, then waste many throws trying to reach exactly zero. I suspect this problem occurs in real darts too.
Luckily, the game supports other variants of the game too (R10, R15 and CRI), and the exploit isn't as useful there.
The game is well done and supports an online mode, even featuring ranked games. Global highscores are also supported. Although technically impressive, it remains to be seen if sufficiently many players are online simultaneously for this to work. Playing against the AI is possible and as usual with this kind games, decently fun for a short while.
Personally, I won't buy as I already have Easy Golf and Petank Party. If you don't have precision games yet, or if you are a darts addict, the game is worth a try.
