I downloaded the demo for Moon Taxi because I was curious about the game play. By the end of the demo I was digging for my credit card to buy more points so I could play the rest of it. The funny thing was it is not the game play that got me hooked but the stories.

The entire game is based around the telling of short stories from the perspective of a person taking taxi ride to the moon. As the stories are being told to you (the taxi's driver) you have to steer around asteroids and rocks on your way to the moon. As you go along words from story pop up and if you can bump into them you collect their dust and earn points. The more dust you earn the more additional levels you unlock. I played through the whole game in one siting which took about 45 minutes and I did not have to replay any levels to get more points to unlock the next level.

I realize that does not seem like very long for a game, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing it because the stories were varied and funny. You can't lose or die. Even if you repeatedly run your ship into rocks it just loses points and goes slower.

This is more an interactive radio show then it is a game really, but one that I really enjoyed. I would recommend everyone give the demo a try because it is a really unique take on story telling.
