Battle-X is a game inspired by some of the great fighting games of the 2D era of sprite based combat. It features 1-4 player battles fought in multi-platform levels. Featuring 11 characters, each with their own abilities, stories and endings, this game will keep you coming for more. Eight levels of selectable difficulty allows for this game to be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels alike.

You can see that the maker knows his fighting games and has some great ideas. Cool characters, decent animations are there. But alas, the gameplay itself is nearly non-existent. You just wind up standing next to the other fighter bashing buttons and hoping for a dizzy. With more time and maybe with a few extra programmers, there could be something good made out of Battle-X. But as it is, it's about $9 overpriced at $10, unfortunately.

 

I rather play Smash Bros again

The game is well made, but games like these always been made by bigger and better companies. It missing that special thing that seperate it from the masses, I think it would be better if a low budget company would create more unice games.
