Well, if you remember the old PC game "Mechwarrior 2", then you might have fun playing this. With "Mechwarrior 2", you were Mechs taking out other Mechs. Same goes for this game as well. But, I guess I would say that this game is more along the lines of an "Unreal Tournament" title...where you're just playing deathmatches. The graphics are o.k., but I wouldn't call them spectacular. I've only been able to play the demo at this point, and 50 seconds isn't nearly enough time for a fair evaluation. But, I would have doubts about getting this one...I think I had more fun with the "Mechwarrior 2" series.

This game made me and my friend freaking ecstatic when we saw it E3 07'. Took about a year for it to finally make it's way to the marketplace. And wow. I'm at a lost for words. It's not horrible, and it's defiantly not good. you think in that year they would have made it the god of all arcade games. But you would have thought wrong.

I've been playing the game for awhile now, and so far it's pretty decent. The fact that you can't create your own mech sucks but the game is pretty easy. It features 100 levels on the Arcade portion where you have to complete so many levels on each difficulty to unlock an achievement which are too easy to get in my eye. Despite all that the game is fun playing on Xbox Live. But don't play the demo because it pretty much blows and it'll just make you hate the game for the fact of it's shortness when it's really a pretty okay game.

While initially excited about a mech game coming to Arcade, this one blows. The game lacks any type of depth, doesn't matter if you play single or multiplayer, you're restricted to DM or Team DM matches only. Single player adds an Arcade mode of 100 levels fighting various combos of enemy mechs alone. The demo is a joke, You can only play single player DM, you can play one mech, the weakest most limited one in the game on one map. If that weren't restrictive enough, once you get in the game, it kicks you out after two minutes ! You can't even play a full round of DM. Add the lack of depth to the total lack of imagination in achievements which are all focused on finishing various levels of Arcade mode on three different difficulty levels and this game just blows. Any fleeting thoughts of purchasing this game were promptly blown out of my head by the stingy demo and shallow gameplay options.
