The XBLA release of SSII is arcade perfect, and adds online multi-player to the equation, but that just isn't good enough for me.

The Samurai Shodown series is getting a little long in the tooth. Even SS V on xbox looks like it is using the same old pixelated sprites that is the reality of Samurai Shodown. There is no in-game move list, so you'll have to go to the internet to find that info.

It would be nice to see SNK show their fans that they care. How about an HD Remix of Samurai Shodown? As it stands, you get a postage stamp 4:3 picture with an artowrk border to fill out the picture for widescreen displays.

Because of the terrible dpad on 360, you will need some sort of alternative controller to really get any value out of this game. I suggest you wait for an actual NEW version of Samurai Shodown, instead of throwing money at SNK for this quick and dirty port.

I love fighting games and had never played this one. I love it. It is a lot of fun and can be very challenging. It is more than worth it for $5 and I have yet to have any on-line issues with it. Great game, great variety of characters...what are you waiting for?!
