The Tower: A Bomb's Climb Hot

The Tower: A Bomb's Climb is actually the second XBLIG game featuring this little bomb, so if he seems a little familiar, you've probably seen him in "A Bomb's Way".

The game is very simple to grasp: The bomb travels left and right on its own accord, and your only interaction with the bomb is the jump button - the longer you press it, the higher you jump (although over-charging the jump button will penalize your height). The platforms you stand on are randomly scattered and randomly sized, so you really have to have luck and foresight on your side; if you fall into the ever-growing fire, you lose! If you can keep your bomb above the flames, the height (your score) continues to grow, and in a pinch, you can use a few of the randomly placed power-ups to assist you.

With three different gameplay modes (Singleplayer, Local Multiplayer, and Online Multiplayer), this game offers a bit of game for your buck. I was unable to find any online games, but I'm sure that as more gamers get their hands on this casual and easy-to-enjoy game, that will change. The Tower: A Bomb's Climb is a great game for small pick-up-and-play games, and with both a local leaderboard and an online leaderboard, you'll be able to try your hand at climbing to the 'top.'

Like WDesm said it is pretty simple, but still pretty fun. Plus is has Xbox Live support so you can play with your friends over Live. The power ups are fun because they can give you just enough advantage to get past your opponents as you get close.
