The concept is simple...shoot a ball from the top of your screen at pegs and eliminate them from the screen...scoring big points in the process! Sounds easy, right? Not all the time. "Peggle" has many, MANY levels, and it can take time to master them all just because of the way the levels are designed. And, the add-on of "Peggle Nights" is a great addition as well...adding more levels and more challenges! I was able to pick this one up as a Deal of the Week...and also get the "Peggle Nights" add-on as well...so for 800 MS points ($10), I think I got a pretty good deal. Fun game!

Fun game, but can be tedious. The achievements are fairly time consuming and/or difficult. Great game if you want to get the girlfriend into playing videogames.

The game was decent for a little while, but got boring pretty quickly. I suggest playing the trial first to find out if you will like the game.

This is an excellent, pick-up-and-play game that everyone will be able to play and do well on.

It's one of those games where you just need another go, and will keep coming back to.

Simple controls and premise, but the game gets trickier and trickier.

It has plenty of modes, both online and offline, so the lastability is there.

It even has a colour-blind mode which really helped my husband as he couldn't see the green / orange dots - why don't more games implement this?!

Excellent fun - a must-have purchase!

I don't know about you, but Drew Carey just isn't cutting it for me on "The Price Is Right". It's not his fault; he's trying, but there's no way that anyone could make me forget his predecessor, Mr. Bob "spay or neuter your pets" Barker. It takes a hell of a guy to make those my-gosh-are-we-in-a-carnival-from-the-seventies games seem like matters of life and death (sometimes literally, in the case of that poor mountain climber who inevitably gets lemminged right over the cliff by contestants who don't know how much toothpaste costs). Take Plinko, for example. That's one of the stupidest games ever, right? But darned if Bobby didn't make that game as suspenseful as any game show directed by Hitchcock (of which there are none, but you get the idea).

And then there's Plinko's "Hello Kitty" fanatic cousin, Peggle. A game so fun that all the rainbows and cartoon animals in it still can't diminish its druglike power. If you haven't played it yet, you must be one of those folks who thinks it's a good idea to spin the Big Wheel again after you've hit 95 cents. A great game in short doses or extended binges.

Come on down.

I really like the approach and the first games i played. (something like pachinko).
BUt the problem is, that the results are way too random to actually call it really a game. Anyway, nice game still, but i somehow find it misses something.

This version of Peggle is just as fun as the original (PC) version, with an updated interface that looks and feels much nicer. Playing it on a console makes local multiplayer even easier, it's way more convenient to pass a controller back and forth rather than huddling around a keyboard/mouse.

Pretty standard Pop Cap fare. Easy concept, easy controls, challenging to master. This is a great title for a quick pick up or to kill an hour or two on a lazy afternoon. Anyone can get into the game and almost everyone will enjoy it.

Extreme Fever is what this game is all about! Once you start, good luck with doing anything else for a few hours!

Peggle is incredibly addictive, and the achievements are surely going to keep you trying for awhile.

I can't really say much about this game, aside from just telling everyone to buy it. It's fun, it's addictive, and it plays Ode to Joy at the end of every level! :)

By far the most addictive game I've played. I have it on DS and iPhone as well so I'm never without my Peggle fix. Brilliant mix of creative puzzle elements with cute and fun graphics and sounds. Really one of the best games in recent years.

For a casual game, it's surprisingly deep. With online play, adventure mode, and challenging mode (plus level select over many levels) you will play this game for a LONG time. For achievement hogs, most of the achievements are super easy, but you'll have to devote yourself (and you will) to get the full 200/200.

Worth the $10 easily. It's the best casual game on XBLA by far!

Great game, but I feel like the PC version was a more intense and enjoyable experience. The XBLA version does add online multi-player though, and comes in at $10 which is less than the PC version (except when there is a good sale).

Oh Peggle....peggle, peggle, peggle. Why do I get so addicted to you? No matter what other games take my attention I eventually return for more Peggle action. LOL

Peggle is one of those games that most people can't explain to you WHY they become so addicted to it. They say 'just try it' and before you know it you hooked on it like crack...not that I know what that is really like...LOL.

Peggle has tons of re-playability and is one of the few games which you can enjoy playing for just a few minutes or playing a monster Peggle session for a few hours. You'll notice that quite a few reviews have same the same thing here. Believe it. Download it now!

For what this game is, it's perfect. It's easy enough to pick up and play and fast paced enough that you can enjoy it in either 5 minute installments but addictive enough for you to enjoy in 5 hour installments (not sure I've made it quite that long, but I'm sure I could!).

There is so much to this game and it is addicting as all get out. If you have the slightest amount of interest in this title, download the demo and you will get a taste of the quirky humor and the addicting gameplay. I love the challenge mode and though I have yet to try out the multiplayer modes...They sound fantastic. Don't say No to Bjorn the unicorn...buy PEGGLE now!

One of the most addicting games ever. The Adventure mode lasts roughly 3 hours. You start out with 10 balls and you must clear all 25 orange pegs to clear the level, but you have blue pegs that get in your way, green pegs that give you awesome magic powers, and a randomly placed purple peg that gives lots of bonus points. My favorite is Challenge mode, which has you replay the levels but with some interesting and sometimes insane requirements, such as starting of with only one ball, or having to hit 35, 45, or even 55 orange pegs instead of the normal 25. And I've already spent countless hours in both online and offline multiplayer. Must-buy!

Peggle is truly an amazing live arcade game. The concept is really addicting. You shoot a ball out of a cannon and try to hit all the orange pegs in a level by bouncing off blue pegs. You play through the game with different characters that have different powers when you hit a green peg in a level. For example, if you pick the pumpkin you get the power of spooky ball which allows your ball to come back that turn from the top of the board to get even more pegs. The game is very addictive and very fun.

PopCap games make casual style games that even the hardest of the hardcore find entertaining. This game is no different as you will find yourself immersed in a peg slaying frenzy only to look up and find that hours have passed. You've been warned.

Peggle is a fun light-hearted romp into the worlds of Pachinko, Pinball, and those machines that give out cash or tickets depending on whether you find them in Chuck-E-Cheese or Tom Thumb. The game has an awful lot t offer too. I still haven't completed all the challenges despite giving copious amounts of time to the cause. It's not hard to learn the game either. Aim, fire. Rinse, repeat. Yet somehow it doesn't get tired. Online play is just offline play with strangers doing the same thing alongside you.

Peggle is a highly addictive game that is so simple you loose track of time. You basically aim a ball and try to hit all the orange pegs. As simple as it sounds you find yourself looking for a way to master each level. I highly recommend you buy this game for both the Hardcore and Casual Players.

I'm not really a fan of the Pop Cap games on XBLA (Bejeweled 2, Astropop, Zuma), but this game is addictive. It's just a game I find myself going back to play over and over. Once you beat the Adventure mode you still have the challenges and master duels to play. In addition to those, you also get two multiplayer modes (Duel and Peg Party). For 800 points, you definitely get your money's worth. You should, at the very least, download the trial and give this game a shot, ASAP.

Peggle, peggle, peggle. The game is extremely addicting, fun, and simple to play. It's easy to play but difficult to master. The level design can be a little frustrating towards the end but it's all in good fun.
Buyers beware: If you already have the PC version of the original peggle, don't bother it's a port unless you want it for the leaderboards, achievements, and xbox live play.
