i downloaded avatar legends a few weeks ago and i found it amazing i created a entire camgain and online multiplayer map plus i think that the next update if one is coming out should include more online playlists and more weapons so thank you for reading

Avatar Legends is a $3 (240 msp) title that delivers quality enjoyment on so many levels. For three dollars (240 msp) you not only get a single player adventure to enjoy, but also a very solid online multiplayer as well. One truly awesome thing about this game is the fact that you get to use your own Xbox Live avatar to play as in the game. Avatar Legend's RPG elements also stay true to what gamers have come to enjoy from roleplaying video games of the past. In this manner it is not a difficult game to pick up, and learn.

The single player adventure is 10+ hours in length. It has all you could hope for in an RPG of this price, and more. The game features familiar, but different hack n' slash gameplay. As an adventurer in the game you earn gold to purchase new, and better equipment as well as spells that can be used in battle. You also level up in different areas such as strength, stamina, wisdom, and other areas that pay homage to classic roleplaying games. There are four difficulties to choose from as you go on your adventure ranging from easy to hardest. The enemies in the levels vary in strength and appearance. As you progress through the adventure the enemies will gradually get more difficult to defeat. You will meet many unique avatar characters throughout the adventure, some of whom have very comical dialogue. The adventure is definitely worth playing through, I had lots of fun completing it.

The graphics, character design, and level design for this game are amazing. While it's not as grand in scale as the 3D Legend of Zelda titles it's not a cheap looking game either. The lighting, shadow, and water effects in this game are very impressive. Day transitions into night gradually as you play in cycles that mimic real world time rotations. The textures in the game show great detail which is actually more impressive, and vivid than those in The Legend of Zelda: OoT for the N64. Avatars in the game come to life with a vibrant palette of colors.

The Multiplayer in Avatar Legends is a simple hack n' slash version of the adventure mode. It allows you to level up, earn gold, and purchase new equipment as well. You can invite, or join up to 6 players as you battle through waves of enemies that range in strength. You have the choice to host a game of your own, or join in on another gamers lobby. I found that the multiplayer lobby was already full of players hosting matches, so I wasn't hard to find a game to join. The overall multiplayer experience was fun. The only issue I had with it was that there wasn't really a 'winner' determined in each match. I showed who got the most kills, and points but the winner didn't really seem to matter in the match. I did notice that the game features a High Scores list for gold and kills, but I would have liked to have seen the winner in each match be recognized in some manner, or given something special.

The real gem in the multplayer experience is the ability to build, and customize your own map for playing online. The map options available are highly customizable, have 130 unique structures to choose from. Features you can customize include the background music, terrain, weather, buildings, structures, walls, bridges, hero spawn points, enemy spawn points, and enemy waves. The actual map editor took me a little while to learn, but it's pretty easy to pick up on.

This is one very solid indie RPG that definitely offers a quality experience in both single player, and multiplayer modes. While it's length of only 10+ hours may seem short to some it's still a very enjoyable experience to play through. The multiplayer is already strong with a constant lobby full of Xbox Live gamers. You have the ability to create, share, and play on a map you created which gives the game an extended replay value. I was extremely impressed with the entire game. For $3 (240 msp) you can't go wrong with this title.
